Whew...
We went to the Dr. today to follow up on Miss Zoey's ankle - thankfully everything is benign! Such a relief and the best news of the day! The Dr. tried freezing the cells off and if that doesn't work she will go in an remove it. I am so glad that everything is okay! I have been so worried that she might have skin cancer. Skin cancer runs in our family on both sides so I thought she definitely had a chance. Yay for prayers being answered!!!!

Changes!
It's official - I'll be back to work on Monday! I have mixed feelings about going back to work. I hate leaving Hudson with him being so little - I stayed home with Zoey until she was a little over a year. I had a hard time leaving Zoey so I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to leave both of them! Thankfully, my Mom is here now from Tennessee and she's watching the kids. Who better to watch the kids than your own Mom?! If it wasn't for her, I'm not sure I'd be able to go back!
I've accepted a job as a Business Consultant with a company based out of Denver, CO. I'm excited for the potential that this position holds. I leave on Monday for Denver for training. Hopefully Tyson can hold down the fort with two kiddos! :)

Four Months!
My sweet Hudson is four months! I can't believe how fast it has gone! He's the happiest baby! This kid is always smiling and giggling! He is getting so big! He is sitting up for a bit, rolling over and eating some solids! Love this kid!
Cold Weather Has Arrived!
Yikes! I went outside this morning and it was FREEZING! Wasn't it 70 degrees yesterday?! I'm not ready for this! I still haven't acclimated to this weather. I'm missing that Southern weather. If only I could talk Tyson into moving back to Tennessee with me! I miss it there so much! Great food, Souhern hospitality and humidity. Yes, I miss the humidity. I swear people age faster here because of the dry weather. I'm not ready for wrinkles yet!
Speaking of wrinkles, I'm getting old. I'll be 28 next week. Eek! I can't believe I have two kids, a dog and have been married for five years. I'm dreading getting older! Who knew that five years ago when I moved here from Canada, that I'd be married the same year and having a baby the next year. It's been a crazy five years but wouldn't change anything!
Time to go make some chai to warm up!

Feeling Blessed :)
I'm up at 2 am feeding Mr. Hudson and can't help but think about how incredibly lucky I am. Even though Tyson is grinding his teeth incredibly loud in his sleep, I'm so thankful for my life.
Tyson is such a great husband. He works soooooo hard every day to provide for our family. Working as a police officer has been a great experience for him. He really enjoys his work and he has accomplished so much. He's been recognized with numerous awards for his hard work and I couldn't be more proud. Out of the 4 1/2 years that he's been a police officer, I think he's only called in 4-5 times, and that was only to take care of Zoey if she was sick. I've never met someone that is so dedicated and such a reliable, hard worker. He goes above and beyond to take care of us. I'm so thankful to have a husband that wants to acheive so much for his family and to set an example for his children.
He is honestly the best Dad around. Our kids adore their Dad. He is such a hands on father. Zoey is such a Daddy's girl and Tyson couldn't be more in love. I love sitting back and watching them together. He's so patient with the kids - something I need to have more of with them. When we decided to give Zoey a sibling it was a long trial. We had tried for two years to have another baby. After surgery, fertility treatments and painful steps along the way we finally were blessed with a little boy. I had a hard pregnancy with Hudson. I was put on strict bed rest to keep from having him too early due to preeclampsia. I basically lived at the hospital. Twice a week I had to get non stress tests to check on the baby and twice a week I had to see the doctor. I always ended in labor and delivery due to my blood presssure or contractions. Thankfully, I made it far enough to have him without any major health problems for the baby. I went to labor and delivery one morning bc I had been cramping again and thought maybe it was due to my blood pressure. When I got there, I was already at a four and ready to have the babe. It was such a great experience because the Dr let Tyson deliver Hudson. It was a special experience for him and he's been in love with that little boy like he is with his little princess. Thankfully, Hudson has been cleared of any medical issues and is a healthy 15 lbs boy!
Speaking of kids, I couldn't be more blessed to have my two little babes. They are such a blessing to me and make our life complete. Zoey is such a sweet and smart little girl. She's reading, does math and is an exceptional gymnast. She has her Daddy's muscles and looks identical to him! I think the only thing she got from me was her little JLo bum and attitude! I couldn't ask for a more crazy/perfect little girl.
I know the blog was kind of everywhere with how grateful I am for everythig I have. I'd have to say my life is complete. I enjoy watching our little family grow and couldn't ask for anything more out of life. We have great friends and such a great family that has helped us through everything. It doesn't get much better than this!

Three Months!
My sweet Hudson is three months old today! Here's some little facts about little "Beef":
- He LOVES to stand up! He flexes his little chest and gets so excited! It's so cute!
- He is sooooo ticklish! Under his little chin, on his ribs and his feet get him giggling!
- He is slightly obsessed with his Mommy! I love it because Zoey has always been a Daddy's girl so it's nice to have a turn.
- He FINALLY is sleeping from 07:30p-4a, and then passes back out until 8a! I would enjoy it more if I didn't have to wake up between that time to pump!
- Hudson loves being around Zoey. She reads to him and dresses him up in princess clothing. He just think it's so fun to hang out with his big sister.
- He is a big time swaddle baby. Zoey hated to be swaddled up in a blanket but Hudson cannot sleep without it.
- The kid loves to eat. He's 14.6lbs and I'm thinking he will weight more soon because he is constantly eating!
- It might be a miracle...he is actually starting to change and look like me!!!!!!! Of course, when Tyson holds him he looks like his Dad but he's definitely starting to look like his Momma! :)

I'm hoonnngrayyy!
Can we all agree that crock pots are amazing? I'm slightly obsessed with mine and now after I found recipes that'll help my J-Lo abs, I'm even more obsessed! Crock pots make life so much easier! Who really has time to cook for an hour? Not me that's fo sho! Plus, the crock pot makes my house smell like I've been slaving away in the kitchen all day. Double bonus. Triple bonus for Zoey putting glitter glue all over my crockpot. Nothing like a little bedazzling.
PS You can make baby food in the crock pot. Yessir!
